So this heiress walks into a library...

What I will be wearing for spring break

-Tiny horizontal stripes

-My fedora 

-Florals (+ stripes = less cliche)

-Furs (Ok I don't really own any, but if I did I would)

-Ripped jeans

-Bright cardigans

-Animal and turquoise rings... I love the jaguar

-My stiletto oxfords which should be arriving shortly

My look in short: An heiress from the late 1920s inexplicably gets put into a time machine and is transported into a library to be a librarian. Stuck with only what she arrived in (furs, fedora, and loads of jewelry) she mixes them in with her new plain librarian closet. 

Okay, quite ridiculous. I'll let everyone know how that goes

Not Your Cat's Pajamas

                  

Silk pajamas have just always seemed so Bardot, so Garbo, so glamorous to me. I am thrilled to see them paired with menswear for S/S 09. Absolutely brilliant. They just seem to sum up so many pieces we have been seeing on the runway: muted colors, transparent fabric, lace, and draping -- perfect! 

Add one part menswear, one part lipstick, shake your hair and serve...
